Description

The M38A1C, Willys MD, is a modified post WW2 version of the iconic Willys jeep used by the Allies throughout the Second World War. The MD was the first Willys jeep with a significantly restyled body, recognizable by its rounded hood and fenders. The modified version of the M38A1C was equipped with a M40A1 106mm recoilless rifle. A spotting .50 calibre M8C semi-automatic rifle was fitted to ensure a first round hit.

Widely manufactured for the U.S. military, the M38A1C was also exported to various friendly foreign governments, and saw extensive service during the Korean War, Vietnam War and several other conflicts.
