Description
The Russian 96K6 Pantsir-S1, ZPRK DB, is a self-propelled, medium-range surface-to-air missile and anti-aircraft defence system. The Pantsir-S1 was designed to provide air defence to military, industrial and administrative installations against aircrafts, helicopters, precision munitions, and UAVs. The system is armed with two twin 30 mm cannons and two six round surface to air missile missiles.
Typically mounted on a truck, the Pantsir-S1 can also be mounted on a GM, Gusenichnaya Mashina, chassis just like the BUK and TOR M-1 air defence systems.
