Panzer III Ausf. J w/ Full Interior

The commonly named Panzer III, Panzerkampfwagen III (Pz.Kpfw. III), was a medium German tank developed in the 1930s. Extensively used in World War II campaigns, the Panzer III was deployed to fight alongside armoured fighting vehicles and directly support infantry. The Panzer III, over a quarter of manufactured German WW2, saw combat across various campaigns such as in Poland, France, North Africa, and the Soviet Union.

Primarily armed with a 3.7 cm main gun, the Pz.Kpfw. III saw later upgunned versions installed in the same turret’s ring dimensional limitations. Eventually proving to be ineffective against Soviet deployed T-34 and KV-1 tanks, the Pz.Kpfw. III’s chassis paved way to a heavier direct infantry-support, turret-less, assault gun known as the StuG III produced until the end of the war.
