U.S. Combat Vehicle M10 Booker

The M10 Booker is a light weight, air transportable, rapidly deployed manufactured assault gun for the United States Army. Designed and produced by General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS), first delivered in February 2024, the Booker has been wrongfully labeled as a light tank due to its design and appearance.

Deploying as an assault gun, like its previous predecessors, the M10 essentially serves the role of an assault gun, to suppress support fire to neutralize obstacles facing deployed infantry such as bunkers, gun emplacements, and lightly armored vehicles.

Manned by a crew of 4, the fully tracked M10 Booker is armed with an M35 105mm main gun, a 7.62mm coaxial machine gun, and a turret mounted M2 .50 caliber machine gun. The Booker incorporates modular armor, smoke dischargers, ammunition stowage blowout panels, and the Safran Optics 1’s PASEO Commander’s Independent Tactical Viewer (CITV) rendering an increased situational awareness for the commander.
