product description
The K-51 radio truck was a Chevrolet produced 1.5 ton, 4×4 light truck used by the United States Army and its allies during and after World War 2. Originally produced as the Chevrolet G7100 and G4100 models, the K-51 was built as a special type radio/command vehicle with its own power supply towed in the K-52 trailer.
During World War II, the US military purchased a total of 167,373 units, across various manufactures, with more others shipped to the Soviet Union as part of the Lend-Lease program.
