The Sukhoi Su-35S Flanker-E is the designation for two improved derivatives of the Su-27 air defense fighter. Both improved versions of the SU-35 are are single seated, twin engine, super maneuverable aircraft, designed by the Sukhoi Design Bureau.
Great Wall Hobby‘s latest 1/48th scale Su-35S consists of a 11 grey plastic sprues. The minimal number of parts is due to the adoption of excellent slide mould casting. The well designed kit with its complex shape feature crisp, fine panel lines and rivets visible on the fuselage, wings, and control surfaces. Major assemblies such as the air intake ducts are included as a single part with highly visible details.
The missiles are slide moulded as a single part, including all fins and control surfaces. The kit also features a highly detailed cockpit and ejection seat with separately moulded seat harnesses. Landing gear doors feature crisp details on both the inner and outer surfaces, with complete ducting in the both the front and rear landing great bays. The vectoring thrusters are designed in the resting position during assembly just like the real aircraft. Two huge decal sheets provide decals for the cockpit, fuselage, and markings for four various aircraft serving in Russia, and Hmeimim/Latikia air base in Syria.
