Soviet UAZ-469 All-Terrain Vehicle

The Soviet UAZ-469 is a military, off-road light utility vehicle manufactured in 1971 replacing its predecessor GAZ-69. Initially deployed by the Soviet, Warsaw Pact, as well as paramilitary units, the UAZ saw widespread service in need of a robust, highly durable off-road vehicle.

Powered by a 4-cylinder engine, the UAZ is able to run on low octane gasoline, being capable of driving on virtually any terrain. The UAZ was eventually exported, around 2 millions, to various eighty countries like Iraq, Syria, and warring factions in Lebanon during the Lebanese civil war.
