product description
The Sd.Kfz.234/2 PUMA w/ Engine Parts, German for armoured reconnaissance vehicle, was the second variant of the 8×8 armoured car designed and built in Germany during World War II. Based on its earlier Sd.Kfz. 231 8-Rad successor, the 234/2 was a turret mounted on the lower hull armoured structure, armed with the 5 cm KwK 39 L/60 gun alongside its coaxial MG 42.
Equipped with a powered V12 Tatra diesel engine, the Sd.Kfz. 234/2 deployed its previously amassed combat experience in fast-moving, hard-hitting targets during the Wehrmacht’s early invasions of Poland and France, in addition to its various Sd.Kfz. 234 variants.
