K.M.Scharnhorst was a large German battleship built before WWII. She was the lead ship of the SCHARNHORST-class which included one other ship, K.M.Gneisenau. Scharnhorst was designed to raid enemy?s merchant shipping. Before she was sunk in the North Cape, Scharnhorst had excellently accomplished her mission.
