Description

The Mikoyan MiG-29 “Fulcrum” tactical fighter was designed as a response to the new generation of Western fighters. The project began in 1970 and the prototype flew for the first time on October 6, 1977.

The MiG-29A can carry a variety of weapons, including R-27R semi-active radar guided missiles, R-27R, R-73, R-60 and other infrared guided missiles, built-in cannons and a variety of bombs and rockets. In addition, the MiG-29 can also carry a 1520 liter disposable fuel tank on the mid line of the belly for long-range missions and transition flights.

This newly tooled 1/32nd scale kit from Trumpeter consists of 310+ parts, with a length of almost 54 cm and a wing span of 36 cm when completed. The kit features a newly tooled, highly detailed fuselage, engines, cockpit, and landing gear bay. The kit also includes metal struts for the landing gear and rubber tires.
