Mr. Hobby Aqueous Color is a very friendly, safe to use paint. The Aqueous range of paints provides a smooth, self levelling finish, resulting in an excellent painted finish.
The Aqueous Hobby Color paint can be diluted with water for brush painting, or used out of the jar if desired, while the paint brushes can be cleaned and washed using water. The Mr. Hobby Aqueous paint range can also be painted using an airbrush. Thinning the paint can be done using Mr Hobby Levelling Thinner, with either a 1:1 or 1.5:1 dilution ratio.
The gloss levels for the Aqueous Hobby Colors can be adjusted using H-40 Flat Base. Mixing approximately 5% of H-40 Flat Base to convert glossy colours to a semi-gloss finish, using 10% of H-40 Flat Base will result in a matt finish.
