The Mercedes-Benz L 4500 was a heavy duty truck built by Daimler-Benz from 1939 to 1944. Featuring its distinguishable long-bonnet truck look, the L4500A was offered as both a rear-wheel-drive truck or as an all-wheel-drive truck. The German Wehrmacht used the L 4500 during World War II with both armoured and unarmoured cabins as Flak AA trucks.
Due to the demanding need and shortages of production material, the Mercedes-Benz L4500 saw manufacturing modifications with its simplified standardised Wehrmacht cabin and with simplified wings for mud guards.
Fitted with a six-cylinder diesel engine, the Mercedes L4500’s U-shape ladder frame provided ample disturbance and off-road capabilities in hauling material as well as heavy AA guns across various battlefields
