USMC M1A1 FEP Abrams/Combat Dozer Blade

The M1A1 FEP Abrams tank is the latest version of the basic M1 tank deployed by the United States Marine Corps, USMC. The M1A1 FEP (Firepower Enhancement Protection) was upgraded with significant electronic enhancements, improved turret armor protection, and a newly installed stabilised commander’s weapon station. The new station would allow the commanger to engage targets via a day and thermal camera on the move whilst the .50 cal being stabilised horizontally. Additional protection to the commander is also provided from the rear and armored glass on both sides. Many USMC M1A1 Abrams FEP were fitted with front dozer blades to aid in clearing obstacles and creating defensive positions.
