M1296 Dragoon Infantry Carrier Vehicle

The M1296 Dragoon is an infantry carrier vehicle (ICV)  based on the Stryker eight-wheeled armoured fighting platform. The Stryker Dragoon provides protected transport for 2 crew and 9 fully equipped infantry squad members, within the Stryker Brigade Combat Teams (SBCT). Equipped with an unmanned turret, the Stryker Dragoon can effectively engage lightly armoured vehicles as well as enemy troops. The Dragoon’s MK44 Bushmaster 30mm gun is capable of firing airburst, high explosive and armour piercing rounds.
