Description
The Land Rover Series III 109 LWB, Long Wheel Base, is the extended version of the most famous “Made in England” Series III 4×4 off road vehicle. Inspired by the American Jeep, the first prototype Land Rover was done in 1947 for both civilian and military tasks. The Land Rover 109 boasted a strong and reliable lightweight, corrosion resistant, aluminium frame to tackle, with success, the most difficult and demanding trails.
Built between 1971 and 1984, the Series III 109 LWB was deployed in large numbers with various military forces across the world, including Lebanon.
