Kirov Airship

The Kirov airship is a Soviet, what-if super heavy blimp bomber in Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 and Yuri’s Revenge computer real time strategy (RTS) games. Designed as a slow speed, yet able to withstand tremendous battle damage, the Kirov blimp was labeled as a true force capable of delivering a massive payload of heavy bombs reaching any area across mountains, water plains, and barricades.

Considered as the heaviest and most destructive weapon in Red Alert 2, the Kirov can even significantly damage or destroy a group of bundled enemy units and buildings upon its death crash when taken down.

Well known for its “Kirov reporting!” call, rising from its factory upon production across the entire map, a race for arms would prepare enemy players to increase their air defenses’ capability and keep their eyes out for a sneaking blimp capable of taking down an entire base on its own.
