Description

The German Panzerkampfwagen E-100 was a proposed super-heavy tank design developed towards the end of World War II. Ordered by the Waffenamt, the German Army Weapons Agency, the E-100 was in parallel development with the Porsche Maus heavy tank. The E-100 was the largest of the Entwicklung series, (E) series, of tank designs which was intended to improve German armoured vehicle production through standardised, simpler to build vehicles. By the end of the war, only the chassis of the prototype of the vehicle was partially completed and was shipped to the United Kingdom for trials, to be scrapped later.

Manned by a crew of 6 the tank was armed with a 128mm KwK 44 L/55 gun, and a co-axially mounted 75mm gun and 7.92mm MG34 machine gun.
