ATF Dingo 2 GE A2.3 PatSi

The ATF Dingo 2 is a German advanced heavily armored military Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicle, MRAP. Based on an upgraded Mercedes Unimog, blast deflector V-hull chassis, the ATF Dingo is an infantry mobility vehicle capable of withstanding land mines, deflect direct fire, artillery fragments and NBC threats. The ATF Dingo 2 stands for Allschutz-Transport-Fahrzeug, German meaning for all-protected transport vehicle. Named after the Australian native dog, the dingo, the ATF Dingo saw service for its first version in 2000 with the German Army.

Manned by a a crew of 2, in addition to 6 fully equipped troops, the ATF Dingo is armed with a remote-controlled weapons station Deutschland Fennek KNDS which can be armed with the FN Herstal M3M .50 Cal heavy machine gun or the Heckler & Koch GMG 40mm grenade launcher on its roof.

First deployed for the German army in Afghanistan, the modular design armoured ATF Dingo saw extensive battles with 50 Dingos delivered to Ukraine during the Russo-Ukrainian War.
