Apocalypse Tank

The Apocalypse is a what-if super heavy Soviet tank given birth by an iconic, real time strategy (RTS) Red Alert 2, computer game in 2000. Dubbed as the ultimate Soviet tank, the Apocalypse was based on its predecessor Red Alert 1 game Mammoth tank back in 1996.

Described by Zofia, Russian for war in a can, the Apocalypse was armed with a massive twin barrelled turret, capable of eliminating light vehicles and structures with a single volley. Additional turret mounted Tusk missile launchers were capable of effectively attacking air targets while being stationary, or on the go.

Ranked up units during combat, Zofias became extremely powerful, huge threats with a quick firing barrage of 4 explosive anti-tank rounds before taking huge amounts of damage before succumbing with its advanced self-repair system, fully patching itself out of combat when damaged.

Well known for its “It will soon be a wasteland” phrase, Zofia were deployed as viable siege units capable of drawing fire from their defense base while paving the route to dish out heavy punishment.
