Description
The 2A3 Kondensator 2P is a Soviet 406 mm Self Propelled Howitzer. The 2A3 originated during the Cold War as a response to the United States’ new “Pentomic Division” tactical doctrine that emphasized heavy use of nuclear weapons including nuclear artillery. In response, the Soviet Union started its own program to develop a 406mm self-propelled howitzer capable of firing nuclear projectiles.
This new 2A3 Kondensator 1/35th scale kit from Trumpeter, kit No: 09529, consists of over 830 parts with refined details, a side mold lower hull and cabin, individual track links, a PE fret, and a copper cable for replicating the tow cable.
